Our company has performed general coordination and engineering services for A2A Ciclo idrico integrato S.p.A. studying 28 municipalities in Val Sabbia in the Province of Brescia, covering about 960 km of aqueduct network.
Activities include:
- Design of the measurement campaign, aimed at calibration of the hydraulic model and preliminary identification of some critical issues such as water hammers
- Hydraulic modeling
- Analysis of network functionality and in-depth study of the hydraulic functioning of each municipality
- Simulation of project scenarios.
At the conclusion of the study, energy efficiency and infrastructural interventions are proposed for each municipality based on the specific problems detected with the aim of reducing energy consumption, optimizing network pressure trends and containing wasted water volumes.
The hydraulic model resulting from the study of each municipal system or aqueduct basin represents a management and planning tool suitable for comprehensive assessments and small-scale studies, applicable to various simulation and planning activities.
