J+S for the Steel Promotion Foundation

An article by J+S was published in the magazine *Fondazione Promozione Acciaio*, focusing on the restoration and repurposing project of the Scuderie De Montel, now home to Italy’s largest urban thermal spa. The article describes the role of steel in the transformation of this historic Art Nouveau building in Milan: a self-supporting steel structure made it possible to create the new spa spaces while preserving the original architecture and integrating innovation, sustainability, and the protection of the existing heritage. Today, the De Montel Thermal Baths stand as a shining example of urban regeneration, where history, technology, and sustainable design converge in the heart of Milan.
