The project involved the field survey of the sewer network, monitoring, hydraulic modeling and verification of flood spillways in some municipalities in the province of Cremona. The objective of the project was the geometric reconstruction of the sewer networks, the identification through hydraulic modeling of the main criticalities of the networks and the most optimal solutions to the resolution of the problems, and finally the verification of environmental and regulatory compliance of the flood spillways.
For hydraulic modeling and calibration of sewer networks, Infoworks ICM software was used. As for flood spillways, a total of about 400 were hydraulically analyzed in order to verify their environmental compliance, according to Regional Regulation 3/2006.
