New completely underground flywheel tank having a usable volume of 2,100 cu m and total volume of 2,600 cu m, fed by a new concrete conveyance pipeline served by a diversion artifact, placed in San Michele del Carso Street, and equipped with a pumping system for emptying the reservoir, an automatic tank washing system and an odor abatement system.

Goals

The intervention was planned by Brianzacque to resolve the hydraulic criticalities that occur in rainy weather to the mixed sewer system in the hamlet of Cimnago and, in particular, in the urban area of via Tintoretto and neighboring streets.

  • Resolve critical hydraulic issues that occur in rainy weather to the mixed sewerage system in the Cimnago hamlet;
  • Resolve the critical hydraulic problems that occur in rainy weather to the sewerage system of the urban area of Tintoretto Street and neighboring streets, normal continuation of the sewerage system of the Cimnago hamlet;
  • To re-establish the normal conditions of functional and managerial safety of the urban area served by the sewer system in the hamlet of Cimnago and the area adjacent to Tintoretto Street;
  • Relieve the existing flood spillway in Tintoretto Street and re capitant in the Seveso Creek.
