This project concerns the extension of the district heating network of the company Varese Risorse Spa (Acsm-Agam group) in the southern area of Monza, with connection of the Monza Sud network to the area of the Brianzacque purification plant in San Rocco.
The work was contracted to the joint venture of companies composed of Tagliabue Spa of Paderno Dugnano (group leader) and Eurocondotte srl of Nova Milanese (principal).
The extension project involves the construction of a DN 250 mm backbone connecting the network fed by the Monza Sud district heating plant to the area of the Brianzacque company's San Rocco sewage treatment plant, aimed at feeding into the network the heat made available by a new Brianzacque cogeneration plant located at the sewage treatment plant.
The present section (LDI 3S) concerns the overpass section of the Lambro River, planned with pipes braced under slab of the road bridge on Fermi Avenue (north carriageway).
