The project involves the widening of the Mecenate interchange along the A51 east ring road within the municipal territory of Milan.
As part of the activities related to the Integrated Intervention Program ("IIP") called "Montecity-Rogoredo" aimed at the urban restructuring of the areas located on the municipal territory of Milan in the eastern part of the territory near the Rogoredo district, several infrastructural interventions are planned to adapt the accessibility system to the new IIP, which is part of an extremely complex infrastructural context.
These include the upgrading of the Mecenate interchange of the A51 East Ring Road and related complementary works, which is justified in view of the significant increase in traffic that will affect the area under consideration following the implementation of the IEP.
