The project proposes the development of internal infrastructure in the northern subdivision of Milan Santa Giulia. The area involved is located in the southeast of Milan, between the Mecente junction of the Tangenziale Est and the Milano Rogoredo station.
Within the master plan we can recognize 3 main roadways running through the entire subdivision:
- "Park Front Road": starting from the existing "Via Sordello" and passing through the intersection of the latter and the Milan Santa Giulia neighborhood roadways, it skirts the planned park until it reaches near the Esselunga lot.
- "North Main Arch": from the above intersection to the "R2 Roundabout" creating a connection between the subdivision and the East Bypass.
- "South Main Arch": from the heart of the Milan Santa Giulia district, it starts one-way in the direction of "Park Front Road"
The project also includes the upgrading and enhancement of some existing roadways to improve and make easily accessible connections to the project area.
Connected to the development of the roads is also the design of the underground utilities, conceived and designed to serve each land parcel and each housing unit with the latest technologies and energy sources. Within the project area there are gas, electricity and data networks (the latter through technological tunnels typical of the city of Milan), as well as stormwater/wastewater drainage and aqueduct networks.
