J+S was contracted to provide Site Coordination and Technical Assistance for the self-built Austria Pavilion, designed by architect Klaus K. Loenhart and team.Breathe-Austria.

A building mainly made of exposed reinforced concrete, it consists of a space in which architecture, nature, culture and research come together in one sensory and cultural experience.

The basic concept centers on the theme of 'AIR, as the primary means of sustenance. The entire exhibition area is surrounded by native trees, having in fact reproduced an Austrian forest that provides as much as 62.5 kg/h of oxygen, providing well-being and eliminating CO2.
