The project preserves and transforms an existing building consisting of two above-ground floors, the first of which was completely reconstructed following a fire. Located in the Camonica Valley area characterized by the striking alpine landscape, from the morpho-typological point of view the project preserves the planimetric layout and rethinks the volumetric image of the facades, completely renewed both in terms of the architectural solutions proposed and the finishes used.
Peculiarity and generating ingredient of the concept is the multi-pitch wooden roofing which, supported by scenic wooden portals defines the element that with its irregular shapes wants to dialogue with the landscape and takes up the "traditional" image of mountain buildings.
The complex aims for sustainable resource management, plant optimization and a high standard of energy efficiency.
