The project is part of the overall project of in-lieu upgrading of SP46, and consisted of the construction of an off-site section of highway roadway that runs north of the built-up area of Baranzate, for a total development of about 2.45 km. Interferences with watercourses and roadways were all resolved through the elevation of the new highway route and the construction of appropriate works.
